Introduction Welcome to KasherMeNow (hereinafter: “The Website” and/or “The Company”). The Website is operated and managed by Nachman Harris. Use of this website, its content, and the services offered herein constitutes your agreement and confirmation of these Terms of Use. Please read these terms carefully, as booking a service constitutes a binding agreement between you (hereinafter: “The Client”) and The Company.
1.1. KasherMeNow provides kitchen koshering services, including Hag’alah (immersion in boiling water), Libun (torching/heating), and surface koshering, in accordance with Halachic requirements. 1.2. Important Clarification: This service is a Halachic-Professional service and NOT a cleaning or polishing service. 1.3. The service does not include general home cleaning, scrubbing of hard grease (unless required for direct koshering and agreed upon in advance), trash removal, or pest control. 1.4. The Company commits to performing the work with professional skill, using designated equipment (burners, water boilers, tools) that meets the standards required for kitchen koshering.
To enable the KasherMeNow team to perform the koshering efficiently, safely, and according to Halacha, the Client undertakes to perform the following actions prior to the team’s arrival:
2.1. Thorough Cleaning: The Client is responsible for handing over the kitchen completely clean of food residues, dirt, grease, and dust. The stovetops, oven, counters (Shayish), and sinks must be thoroughly cleaned. 2.2. “Waiting Period” (Non-Use): The Client ensures that no Chametz and/or utensils designated for koshering are used for at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time (or in accordance with other Halachic instructions provided by Nachman Harris). 2.3. Clearing Surfaces: Countertops, workspaces, and kitchen tables must be cleared of any objects not designated for koshering to prevent damage and allow full access. 2.4. Non-Compliance: It is hereby clarified that if the Company’s team arrives at the Client’s home and finds that the kitchen is not clean to a level that permits koshering, or that the required preparations were not made, The Company reserves the right not to perform the service. This will be considered a last-minute cancellation involving full cancellation fees.
Placing an order requires reserving the time of a professional team and equipment. Therefore, the cancellation policy is strict and binding.

3.1. Non-appearance or cancellation on the day of the event will be considered a last-minute cancellation, and the Client will be charged according to the policy above. 3.2. Payment for the service will be made upon completion of the work or in advance, as agreed with Nachman Harris, via cash, bank transfer, or other payment methods accepted by The Company.
The kitchen koshering process inherently involves the use of extreme temperatures (boiling water, open fire, steam) and strong materials. 4.1. Wear and Infrastructure: The Company and/or anyone on its behalf shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to the kitchen or its contents resulting from “thermal shock” (temperature changes), natural wear and tear, previous faulty installation, existing cracks in the stone/ceramics (even if not visible to the naked eye), or peeling of old coatings. 4.2. Duty to Inform: It is the Client’s responsibility to alert the team in advance regarding any special sensitivity of materials in the kitchen (e.g., synthetic stone sensitive to heat, special faucets, delicate glass, etc.). 4.3. The Company operates with extreme caution and professionalism to protect the Client’s property but shall not be responsible for damages that are considered a reasonable risk in a standard koshering process.

Information Collection: When contacting us for service, we may collect details such as: Full Name, Phone Number, Residential Address (for arrival), and Email Address. 5.2. Use of Information: The information will be used solely for the purpose of providing the service, coordination, sending invoices, and relevant service updates. 5.3. Data Retention: The information is stored in the Company’s databases and will not be transferred to a third party, except in cases required for the execution of the work (e.g., to the field team) or by judicial order. 5.4. Mailing: The Company may occasionally send operational messages or service reminders (e.g., a reminder to book koshering for Passover) via email or SMS. The Client may request to be removed from the mailing list at any time.
