The kitchen needs to be thoroughly cleaned (strong cleaning materials till ‘’spotless’’ inc. cracks and rust), as well as any other areas to be kosherd e.g dining room.
I addition, any furniture e.g. tables and any further items or electrical devices (both inside and out, inc. doors, seals & handles) must all be pre-cleaned.
Sink- clean both the sink drainer and tap strainer.

Clean thoroughly, inc. knobs, pull out drawer under gas, tiles behind the hobs. Fan extractor- remove all parts and clean.

‘’Out Of Use’’
Leave the kitchen 24 hours out of use.
note: dishwasher and shabbat kettle – clean well using stone removal material. Note: re. dishwasher inc. cleaning all inside parts.

‘’Prepare In Advance’’
A few dishwashing tablets, ensure gas is connected, ensure that the hot water is working and have ready a pile of towels.

‘’Take Note’’
If you have a ‘’self-cleaning oven’’ you may prepare utensils for kashering.

‘’We Did It’’
The team will come equipped with the kashering tools and kasher acc. to halacha. Within a few hours the kitchen will be back in use.
Important! – keep the kitchen area free whilst kashering (children obviously).
